Yes I did it!!!
I gave birth to another healthy, beautiful child!!!! Addisyn Makaia came into the world at 9:01 am on October 1, 2008!! She weighed a healthy 8lbs. 3.2oz. and was 18inches long!!
Everything about my C/S went well and recovery started off simple! I was up and walking around within 12 hours of my surgery (as soon as the spinal wore off) and the cath was removed soon after that! Recovery in the hospital was smooth sailing until I (like an idiot) decided I needed to lay flat on my back to get some sleep! Well anyone who had ever had surgery on there upper bodies know that if you lay flat on your back all of the gas that is inside of you travels to places where you do not want it and causes a great deal of discomfort and pain!!! So yeah I was an idiot and wound up causing myself a great deal of discomfort that was unwarranted! I got out of the hospital on the 3rd (Happy Birthday honey!!) and came home to an absolutely fabulously clean house (Thank you Wesli and Rachael!!) I was doing well till my incision started itching and driving me batty!!! Come to find out I have developed an allergy to surgical adhesive!! The reaction has almost completely healed up and my incision is doing great!
Cami is a wonderful big sister and has surprised us all with how well she has adapted to her new role!! Potty Training is still a process but we have not yet regressed any (knock on wood) and I hope that we continue on this forward path!!
Well everyone Ernie is back to work and I need to get some rest!! So I will add more later love to everyone!!

Congratulations!!!! What beautiful pictures. I'm so glad everyone is safe and doing well. Remember to take care of yourself!
CONTRATULATIONS!! She is absolutely beautiful!
Just stopping in to say hello and look at that beauty again. Wanted to say thanks for your wishes for My HRH. She is feeling much better as you see from the follow-up post. I'll have to ask specifically the name of the shot but HRH was in such a shape that she had pustules (sp) all in the roof of her mouth and her throat, and I know that the shot was an antibiotic/steroid combination. Hence the reason they don't give it every time I'm sure. I tell ya though - seriously, it made a world of difference in the way she was feeling overall but it was a rough ride through the night even though she was good when she went to bed; she woke up three different times "hungry" and was jerking a little bit in her sleep. It didn't dawn on me until this afternoon that she was having the "munchies" through the night! I like her not being miserable for days on in but I'm not so sure the steroid is a good thing either, sadly.
Awww, yay! Congrats! Found your blog on SWC :)
